The main use of Felt Flap Roll isThese rolls are highly conformable, allowing them to absorb rouges and polishing compounds effectively, and they can be used on materials like stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals to achieve a bright polished finish.Soft type of workpiece for high-gloss polishing processing, finishing all the workpiece polishing, if you need very fine mirror effect of steel wool chrome polish, you can choose with grinding paste for repeated polishing.

Applicable Tools
Adopted spins onto the 5/8-11 machine spindle to support 4” wide flap rolls with 3/4”arbor and keyway system or Pipe Finishing Drum.
Reducing wear and thermal load of the workpiece can be achieved by reducing contact pressure and speed (abrasive paste/oil can be used when appropriate)
In order to avoid unnecessary tool wear and thermal load, choose to switch to coarser-grit pasta/Oil/ Floud/ instead of increasing contact pressure to increase cutting force
Do not Increasing the Rotating Speed, apply with slower speed is more safe to the surface.
Increasing the contact pressure makes the surface slightly more coarse and if you use the same grit size on soft or hard material the surface finish will look coarse on the softer material.
Rotation: The roll is mounted on a low-speed finishing tool or machine.
Surface Contact: As the roll rotates, its wool felt flaps make contact with the surface being polished.
Abrasive Action: The soft yet durable wool flaps gently polish the surface, smoothing out imperfections and enhancing shine.
Absorption: The wool material can absorb polishing compounds or rouges, enhancing the polishing effectiveness.
Adaptability: The flexible nature of the felt allows it to conform to different surface contours, ensuring even polishing.
This process is particularly effective for achieving a high-gloss finish on large surfaces.
